silver_ariel	9:27p	A random non-fandom update for a change. And a poll. I hope everyone who celebrates it had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent it with the in-laws and Maintenance Man's brother and sister and their families. It was nice, actually. Played Hand and Foot and stuffed ourselves silly. ( It was a nice end to a hellish couple of weeks. ) ( Poll about holiday cards ) And speaking of holiday cards, if you want one from me, go leave me your address at my holiday card post. drgaellon	5:55p	GMA cancels Adam Good Morning America has cancelled Adam's scheduled free concert tomorrow. While I agree that the performance on the AMAs Sunday night was bordering on vulgar (Are you shocked? I am not a mindless slavering fanboy. It was too over-the-top for broadcast television, even for the late hour.), I think GMA is incorrect in cancelling him; that smacks of either censorship or punishment. I'm pleased to hear that CBS's The Early Show immediately booked him for tomorrow to discuss it; hopefully, they'll at least let him do a song. Current Mood: angry (Comment on this)

fourth_rose	12:29p	I seem to have misplaced my fannish monogamy Wow, that "Buffy vs. Edward" vid I stumbled upon a while ago has triggered a veritable avalanche of fannish obsessions... First, it sucked me into all things "Buffy" (and subsequently, "Angel") to an almost unhealthy degree. Then I came across the rumour that David Boreanaz is actually capable of getting through a whole TV episode without whining if he's not in Wheydonverse, so I went to check out "Bones". What can I say? I'm halfway through season 4 at this point, and I'm seriously hooked. Diehard vampire fan that I've always been, I still have to admit that some actors obviously work better without fangs. In other news, I've got myself an "Archive of Our Own" account, but the uploading process is a right pain in the ass, so I'll probably wait until some of the bugs get sorted out. Not sure how much interest people will have, but I had fun making up the little ladder charts (iz dork). It's a look at the match up of skill, ability and talent between Beta and Writer that will provide the best benefit to the Writer and least stress and beta enjoyment to the Beta. If anyone has checked out my Holiday Fest Season reccing posts the past two years, you already know that I'm a math geek and believe in the Gaussian Curve (Normal Distribution) like a religion. That view feeds into the Beta-Writer Ladder Theory. Please comment, discuss, or post pornagraphic responses on my Dreamwidth post.
